History was made last week as the inaugural TeenStreet in Egypt finalized on the 6th of September.

TeenStreet, with the vision to grow the next generation in their love for God and people, takes place around the world, each one contextualized to its home culture. TeenStreet Egypt, the first in the Arab world, will be unique with Arabic as its main language.

Anna, the TeenStreet Egypt Director, is grateful for this day. The journey was not without its challenges and it has taken years of dreaming, praying and sharing of vision. In fact last year, only three weeks before the date, TeenStreet was canceled due to political instability.

This year over 70 teens and adults experienced the theme “Making History”, a study of the life of Joseph, who as a teenager came to this very nation and was used by God to save Egypt and thus made history. Anna says, “Our prayer is that the teens will get to know Jesus better,
grow in their faith and be a part of God’s plan in making history in this land and beyond.”

Please pray for TeenStreet! Pray for the teens and their youth leaders, that God will continue touch and speak to each one of them beyond the event! Pray that God will lead us in building a good foundation for coming years with TeenStreet Egypt!
