Can you be a watchman for North Africa?
“Watchmen are ordinarily placed on the walls of a city to give notice to the rulers of coming danger. God appoints watchmen not only to warn men – often they will not hear – but also to summon Him to come to their aid whenever need or the enemy may be threatening. The great mark of the intercessors are that they are not to hold their peace day or night, to take no rest, and to give God no rest, until the deliverance comes. In faith they may count upon the assurance that God will answer their prayers.” Andrew Murray
”But as for me, I will look to the Lord and confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope and expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me” (Micah 7:7, Amplified).
“I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth” (Isaiah 62:6-7).
We are looking for people who want to pray more for North Africa. At our website, we try to regularly post updated information and prayer requests. You might want to visit our website and subscribe to the weekly site digest which will email you a summary of all the website’s activity for the week.

We could pick one or two countries that specifically interest us and pray for those nations. We could pray for one country every day as there are 6 countries included in North Africa that would make one day off on Sunday! We could gather a few people we know together and form a prayer group and meet once a week or once a fortnight to worship and pray together for North Africa. Lots of great ideas!
Rebecca, as of current we do dedicate one day a week to each of the six nations represented by this website taking a day of rest on Sunday. Next week (it’s so close to ready) we will be putting up a commitment form for each country. What people do as a result of their commitment would be up to them, but we could really use everybody’s help getting signups when we do put it out. 🙂 Thanks for being a participant!
