How does this picture lead you to pray?

Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:18-19

Then Jesus said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another. John15:16-17

  1. This picture leads me to pray for a disciple making movement. That there would be many who become “fishers of men” and that God will lead them to the right seekers.
