When a child is born in Morocco, the grandfather or father of the child will whisper in their ear the Shahada, the chant that declares that there is only one God and Mohammed is his prophet. This is the first thing the new baby hears. From that moment on that child is said to be a Muslim.

How can we pray?
* Please pray the children will hear another voice, the voice of the loving Father who desires to give them salvation and see them face to face in Heaven.
* Pray that at a young age Moroccan children will begin to have dreams about Jesus as their Messiah and that they will put their trust in him.
* Ask that they will doubt the sayings of Mohammed and the traditions that do not bring them closer to God. Pray that the fathers who whisper the Shahada in their children’s ear will begin to doubt it. Pray that they will realize the life they ask Mohammed to give their children is not enough.
* Ask God for protection around the lives of children in Morocco.
* Pray for workers who are working with Moroccan children to have wisdom about how to sow in the truths of Jesus and to bring blessing into the lives of these children and their families.
