Today we ask you to join us in prayer for a North African believer.  He has been a believer for some years and has been growing in his faith in leaps and bounds.  He has led a dozen others to faith in Christ Jesus and has been meeting with them, reading the Word together and encouraging one another.  Then, with little explanation, he decided to return to Islam.  We’re very sad about this and were expressing our sadness to another experienced North African leader who said, “Ah, this is part of his training.  We have seen this happen before.  He will return to faith when God is finished with this part of his journey.”  It was spoken with such confidence.  May God fill us with confidence and faith as we pray today for this man.

May God go with him on this journey.  May Jesus draw near to his heart, watching over him, protecting him, and bringing his feet back to the path of righteousness.  Pray that God’s Word will never be far from his mind.  Ask God to give him dreams and visions from Jesus.  Pray protection from lies and may the Truth bring him safely through to the other side.  May this man’s testimony be for God’s glory in the future and for the building up of the Church.  In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
