The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. Isaiah 35: 1,2
A voice of one calling : “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 40:3-5
Stop being afraid… because the desert pastures will bloom, the trees will bear their fruit, and the fig tee and vine will deliver their wealth. Joel 2:22

I pray that God will pour out His rain of blessings on the wilderness and dry places, bringing life and growth in these very places! Isaiah 35 is a wonderful passage to pray through for this picture too.
